SkyBridge = Nothing

Hello.

Well the day before Bio Common Tests, 2 Pcb members decides to stay in school to study for that dreaded paper. Of course the identity of those 2 members are kept confidential in order to protect their privacy.

Anyways, despite taking in large amount of snacks ( pronounce : snakes ) and doing crazy stuff like killing plants, the stress was still too overwhelming. We needed a rush of blood. And we looked. And we looked. and then we saw, the sky bridge.

The immediate reaction.

" LET'S CROSS THE SKY BRIDGE!! "

and of course there would be no objections, the PCB does what it likes, noone stops them.
And this was wad followed. It was fun and thrilling. All PCB members should take a walk across that noobcake of a bridge. seriously.

PCB Navy Seals Division

Greetings to all PCB members!!

PCB Navy Seals Division would like to extend an invitation to all of you to join this prestigious club of.. seals. We have joy, we have fun, we have seasons in the sun. Although sometimes it rains, we go to foodcourts to mug. We are not just brawn without brains (sportsmen), we are not just brains without brawn (muggers), but we are ALL-ROUNDERS!!

Here's an insight on what we do:
- Swim at CCK Swimming Complex.
- Train at CCK Swimming Complex. (Underwater endurance, velocity races, impact training, violent swimming, water kungfu, diving lessons and many other physical activities which are set to challenge you and train your body.)
- Buy loads of snacks, including ling mong tablets which is, according to a certain Navy Seal, "fucking cheap" and delightful to eat. Especially if you pop seven at one go.
- Eat loads of snacks (pronounced "snakes").
- Chopping up ling mong tablets with bare hands/knuckles, Commander Chew-style. Oh wait, only Commander Chew does that.

And of course there's much more, but you never know till you have tried our regime. Like the Singapore Navy says, if your life is a movie, will it be an interesting one? If it's not, we'll make it interesting for you. And we might look to incorporate movie-watching to part of our programmes.

Meanwhile, we'd prefer to have fun in the sun and train like manly seals.

The current members of the PCB Navy Seals Division are Manquan, Goon, Commander Chew and myself. We'll be looking forward to your participation in such exciting activities.

We hit 'em hard.

Even in water.

PCB preparations for CTs underway!

PCB began its preparations for CTs in style, only beginning at the last week of the holidays and mugging in strategic commercial locations like Mos in Sembawang, Food Junction in Lot 1, Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex, on the MRT and some stupid shopping centre beside Northpoint. Key members of the PCB were seen hunched over their notes, exclaiming violent expletives as they found out the limitations of their knowledge.

On Saturday, we took a trip down to the stupid shopping centre beside Northpoint to find out how MQ, Goon and YJ were mugging. MQ first bought an overpriced jasmine green tea so he was busy effing for a bit, and then he started listening to his mp3 for a bit while staying on the same page of Bio notes. YJ was slightly better off, within the hour in the Burger King outlet he moved from page 16 to page 17 of his Chem notes, and is by the way still on the same page.

Goon was trying out mock Chem papers, and it must be said that he must be the most industrious member of the PCB - for he made far more progress than any other member present (not like there were that many, anyway). Mock Test 2005 yielded a result of 3/9, a great achievement for someone who didn't really mug for CT. Mock Test 2004 saw Goon garner the same stupendous wonderful result of 3/9.

To prove his theory that "it's (CTs) all about luck" - he had to do a control on Mock Test 2003. With completely random permutations of A, B, C and D - he achieved a grand total score of 3/9 as well! Proving that CTs IS indeed all about luck, and mugging only serves to confuse and depress. Goon, with mugging, could only garner a mark equal to lucky guesses. That really proves a point.

YJ later went home to try the mock tests himself, and he actually found a possible amendment to Goon's theory. Because he found out that his lucky guesses got him a 4/9, while doing it properly gave him only half the marks!! Well, well, so much for mugging - guess we all know that our luck is better than our mug. Therefore, keep in mind that mugging might not be the best solution - it's good to try your luck.

So PCB preparations for CTs underway!
You all better start to pray!
