Current participants are: YJ (that's me!!), Keefe, SL
Officials: Des, Boon Shing

Okay that's about all for tonight, 29th April 2004 gonna get more ppl tmr

And these are the rules for the violent soccer game, and it is the job of the referees to ensure that they are followed. If you are unhappy with any rule (lol I wrote all the rules), then just message me or post here to change. Well okay here we go.

Section A - Before
1. Before the game, it must be ensured that the goalposts are in correct position, parallel to each other. The official will check and both players will agree the minute that they consider the goalposts in a correct position, and then the match will begin.

2. A toss of the coin will determine who starts the first half. The loser of the toss starts the second half.

3. Both players will consent to start if they find all playing conditions okay.

Section B - During
4. No disruption from the fans first and foremost, and although it is Violent Soccer, extremely violent conduct is not allowed.

5. At any time of the game, there is no usage of hands by the players AT ALL. There are no out boundaries, but the official may throw the ball into the playing groun from a spot if he deems it is too hard to reach. If a player touches the ball, a backflick from 1 metre out is awarded to the other side.

6. The backflick from 1 metre must be STRICTLY observed, with nobody standing in between the penalty-taker and the goalmouth.

7. (a) Each half consists of 5 minutes. The first half will end promptly, and if a goal is scored at that precise moment, the official will rule it in or not.
(b) The second half may have injury or distraction time added to it. A maximum of 25 seconds may be added, depending on the referee. The official (referee) will count down till the end of the game, and that is a MUST. Failure to do so would mean that the official would be suspended for a few more games.

8. Violent play may result in a foul, and that means a free-kick from the spot where the foul was committed. The opposing player must stay at least 0.5m away from the ball, and no direct interference is allowed until the first touch is made.

9. Goal kicks -- opposing player must stay at least 0.5m away.

10. If violent play results in a player being injured, the player who fouls will be sent off. This means the injured player gets the full 3 points from the game while the other player might face a ban. He of course leaves the game empty-handed, regardless of the score at that moment. A player found to have been faking injury will be banned from the whole competition itself.

11. Sportsmanship must be observed. Failure to do so (deemed by officials) will result in direct expulsion from the competition. Also if a player joins, the quitting fee is 50 cents (which will go into PCB fund). Anyone who fails to observe the rule of the quitting fee will be kicked out of PCB Syndicate.

12. A double clap is used to signal both the start and the end of a match, while a clap signifies a foul. Alternatively, speech can be used to inform the players of the match situation.

13. No member of the audience is to disturb the game at any time. Anyone who does so will be expelled from PCBS if he is a member, and if he isn't, he will be instantly made a PCB target.

14. Any teacher that stops play will be made a PCB target, and the result of the game will be based on that score. Appeals are allowed. If the appeal is successful, then the remaining duration of the game shall be played, continuing from the current score.

15. All officials' decisions are final, and an appeal may be made after the game.

Section C - After
16. Please note that un-sportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated.

17. No violent gestures or anything so long the offender shows meaning to it. (ie pointing middle fingers for fun is okay)

18. Officials are required to submit an official match report, in which:
(a) they are required to report the half-time score;
(b) and the full-time score

19. An appeal may be made to the head of Violent Sports (chrissypuss) or if you want Exco, but personally I don't really care. :D If both parties are playing in the competition, then a neutral party will be asked to settle the issue (for example one of the officials)

Section D - General
20. Winning a game will give a player 3 points, a draw 1, and a loss 0. Just follow soccer rules can?

21. This rule will be determined later as the number of players are not confirmed yet.

22. A player may be docked points for misconduct (or showing hatred against PCBS) OUTSIDE violent soccer.

23. If a player is sent off, the other player gets the full 3 points, and the goal difference will be taken from the current score. If any player forfeits or is more than 10 minutes late for the match, then the score will be taken to be 0-0 and the absent party will concede a walkover. The present party will then be awarded 3 points.

24. If any rules are not clarified here, Chrissypuss or me!! will clarify your doubts. And finally, officials' decisions are final and no correspondance or threats or for that matter middle fingers and all will be entertained.
